SHEIN X began in 2021 as a designer incubator program for up and coming artists and designers looking to launch their first few collections and make a name for themselves on the global stage.
Fast forward to today, the SHEIN X program, has undergone an evolution. Now called SHEIN Xcelerator, the strategic partnership initiative is designed to empower brands and their founders to solve challenges throughout the value chain that have long been obstacles to building resilient, global businesses. SHEIN Xcelerator provides tailored suites of direct-to-consumer (DTC) services, from product fulfilment to on-demand production services, as well as SHEIN's established global sales platform, thereby supporting efforts to elevate each brand's business strategy and unlock market access, so they can focus on making their creativity available to the world.
The pilot phase of SHEIN Xcelerator kicked-off in August 2023, and up till end 2025, 20 brands from around the world have onboarded to the program, with combined revenues across all points of sale exceeding USD580 million. Many experienced exponential growth in their first year, with brands on average experiencing 190% sales growth in the first year.
