The company will on-board Spanish brands and sellers to meet demands of Europe customers
Global fashion and lifestyle online retailer, SHEIN, is expanding its integrated marketplace to include Spanish brands and sellers to meet customer demands for increased product variety and enhanced delivery times. This is also in line with SHEIN’s ongoing localisation efforts and commitment to empowering local communities, such as entrepreneurs and designers.
Local brands and sellers can now apply to list their products on SHEIN Marketplace, enabling them to reach customers all across Europe.
Among the first Spanish brands joining the platform are renowned names such as eyewear manufacturer, Hawkers, online design appliance firm, Create, and perfumery product company, Caravan, as well as footwear manufacturer, Porronet.
With its seamless shopping experience and on-the-pulse trendy products, SHEIN has amassed a large and growing global customer base. By joining SHEIN Marketplace, Spanish brands and sellers will gain access to SHEIN’s extensive customer base and can leverage SHEIN’s real-time product performance insights and learn from the company’s on-demand production and demand measurement capabilities. Sellers will further benefit from seamless process for product fulfilment, and SHEIN’s global brand marketing and social channel exposure.
“At Create, we want to be anywhere our users are, keeping true to our business value of always offering the best price, design and quality for our customers. We see clear synergy with SHEIN customers and look forward to delivery our affordable, quality products to new audiences via SHEIN Marketplace.“, said Luis Monserrate, CEO of Madrid-based Create.
“Our priority is to offer the best shopping experience to customers while empowering the communities in which we operate, including Spain. We are thrilled to open our doors to local Spanish brands to create added value for our customers while enabling local businesses to grow with us,” said Christina Fontana, Senior Director for Brand Operations EMEA at SHEIN.
The deployment of SHEIN’s marketplace further demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening the local economy and supporting local businesses, such as local information technology (IT) providers and integrators Moddo and B2X, as well as e-commerce partners like Azzgency and VD shop. These partnerships are fundamental in facilitating our partners with their operations on the SHEIN platform through dedicated trainings and upskilling sessions which support the operational needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. SHEIN is committed to forging strong ties with local communities and positively contributing to their growth and development. Over the past year, SHEIN has established offices in Madrid and built a dedicated local team to understand and meet the specific needs of its customer base in Spain. In April 2023, SHEIN hosted a successful popup store in Madrid, bringing the SHEIN experience closer to Spanish customers and offering a truly omni-channel experience.
