How Are You Shopping?

In an online study conducted for SHEIN by The Harris Poll, we recently surveyed over 2,000 U.S. adults age 18+ to learn more about what is important when shopping for, and wearing, your favorite trends. What did we find most interesting about the results? The strength of agreement in respondents that spanned a wide range of ages, beliefs and demographics!

Below are some of the findings:

Fashion needs to be customized and accessible

93% of U.S. adults agree that “When I can buy exactly the type of clothing I want, it helps me feel good.”

Value is important

Thought is given to post-use habits

89% of U.S. adults agree that “I try to avoid throwing clothes in the trash and instead will donate, sell, swap, alter, etc.”

83% of U.S. adults agree that “I try to find ways to repurpose or recycle clothing when I’m done with it (sell, donate, swap, up-cycle, etc.)”

At SHEIN, we believe fashion should be accessible to all. Our unique, on-demand business model allows us to make available a wide range of trends for our fans around the world. Learn more about how we’re able to do this while keeping prices low.
